EMDR weekly 50-minute sessions

This treatment option is available to clients who have the flexibility in their schedule to commit to weekly appointments. Weekly, 50 minute, EMDR therapy is covered by many health insurance plans, which may reduce your out of pocket expenses. This treatment option allows for ongoing support for clients who want a slower pace working through their trauma.

What does a session look like?

Your session will usually kick off with a catch-up chat, discussing any new realizations or aftereffects you've felt since your last meeting and prepping for the day's focus memory. This catch-up can take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how your week went.

The heart of the session involves EMDR reprocessing of the selected memory, which can span 20-40 minutes.

Wrapping up, we'll take 5-10 minutes to help you manage any emotions that surfaced and ensure you're feeling settled before leaving.

Good to know: Many insurance providers cover these standard 50-minute EMDR sessions.
